Miedzynarodowe Targi Poznanskie (Poznan International Fair or MTP), the largest fair organiser and the leader ofthe Polish exhibition industry, has announced that it will sign an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Nowy Adres, the Warsaw-based organiser of real estate fairs in five main Polish cities.
Nowy Adres specializes in providing tools for a real estate market and is the oldest organizer of real estate fairs inPoland.
More than 40 specialists of Nowy Adres will strengthen the position of the MTP on the Warsaw market, and willexpand the portfolio of the MTP fair by the real estate market, according to the Polish-language press statement.
The flagship product of Nowy Adres is the trade fair of housing and houses – Targi Mieszkan i Domow -, organized in the largest Polish agglomerations of Krakow, Poznan, Tricity, Warsaw and Wroclaw.
Nowy Adres is the owner of internet platforms mieszkaniowi.pl and biznesowi.pl.
Through the acquisition of Nowy Adres, MTP will expand the portfolio of its trade fair and conference events byincreasing the scale of operations, stated MTP Deputy CEO Tomasz Kobierski, as cited in the press release.
The value of the transaction is not disclosed.
Nowy Adres was co-founded by the company managers Katarzyna Cyprynowska (CEO) and Andrzej Luczyszyn.
The Nowy Adres extensive due diligence was conducted by professional entities:
JLSW Janaszczyk, Lis &Wspolnicy Radcowie Prawni (law) and F5 Konsulting (financials). These companies will represent the buyer alsoduring the transaction, the statement said.
The seller is represented by three companies: Azimutus and FMC5 are advisors, and law firm Kancelaria Prawna Domanski, Zakrzewski, Palinka is handling the legal aspect of the transaction.
